Eklavya has consistently performed at a high level in national competitions, securing gold medals for 5 consecutive years and establishing himself as the current fastest short track skater and national record holder in India.

International Competitions :

Eklavya Jagal has made significant strides on the international stage, representing India in various prestigious events:


ISU World Cup and Asian Winter Games: He is the youngest Indian short track skater to have qualified and participated in both an ISU World Cup and the Asian Winter Games.

9th Asian Winter Games (Harbin, China - February 2025): In his debut at these games, Jagal achieved a 23rd rank in the 500 meters distance event and a 7th rank in the 5000 meters.

ISU World Tour 4 (Seoul, South Korea - December 2024): In his debut ISU World Cup appearance, he secured a 41st rank in the 1500 meters, 55th rank in 1000 meters and 67th rank in 500 meters.

Junior World Championships (Gdansk, Poland - February 2024): Achieved 47th rank in 500 meters, 51st rank in 1000 meters, and 5x5th rank in 1500 meters.

Junior World Cup (Heerenveen, Netherlands - February 2024): Secured 29th rank in the 1000 meters event.

8th Jász Cup (Hungary - January 2024): Earned a Bronze medal in the 500 meters.

Indonesia Open Short Track Championship (Jakarta - 2023): Won 3 gold medals.

SEA Open Short Track Trophy (Singapore - 2019, 2020, 2023): Achieved overall 6th rank in 2019 and 2023, and a gold medal in 2020.

Asian Open Short Track Championship (Bangkok - 2023): Achieved overall 8th rank.

2024 Asian Open Short Track Speed Skating Trophy (Jakarta): Achieved overall 6th rank.


National and State Achievements :

Jagal has a strong record in national and state-level roller and ice skating championships, consistently winning medals since 2014. He has been a National Gold Medalist in ice skating for the last 7 years and holds current national records. Notable national achievements include:

  • Khelo India Winter Games:

    • 2023: 3rd Khelo India Winter Games (Gulmarg) - 2 medals

    • 2024: 4th Khelo India Winter Games (Ladakh) - 1 medal

  • National Ice Skating Championships: Gold medal winner and current national record holder for the last 6 consecutive years (up to 2022-2023 season).

  • National Roller Skating Championships: Bronze medal winner in National CBSE inter school championships (2017) & Bronze medal winner in All India Ranking Championships (RSFI) in 2022.

  • State Roller Skating Championships: Gold medal winner in UP State CBSE inter school championships (2023) & 1 Silver & 1 Bronze Medal in North Zone 1 Roller Skating Championship (2019).

  • Domestic Roller Skating Competitions: Eklavya has won more than 30 medals in several domestic roller skating competitions showcasing exceptional talent and dedication to the sport.
